Anya Taylor-Joy performed a cover of the 1964 hit “Downtown” for her new movie, Last Night in Soho.
Taylor-Joy performed a stirring rendition of the classic song by Petula Clark, with the music video featuring scenes from the latest movie.

Last Night in Soho is a psychological horror film directed by Edgar Wright.
The film sees a young aspiring fashion designer finding herself transported back to the 1960s, where she takes on the body of another girl.
The film stars Thomasine McKenzie, Anya Taylor-Joy, Diana Rigg and Margaret Nolan.
The latter two made their final appearances in film, they passed away in 2020.

The movie has received numerous positive reviews from critics, with Rotten Tomatoes giving the film a score of 74% positive.
Metacritic scored it 65 out of 100, scoring it with generally favorable reviews.
CinemaScore also gave the movie a B+.
Anya has been a very busy girl, working on projects after projects.
This is despite her winning an Emmy for Best Actress for her work in The Queen’s Gambit.
The Netflix series saw it become the top show in 63 countries, more than 62 million viewers watched the drama.
She has featured in many films in her short career so far, starring in films such as Split; alongside X-Men actor James McAvoy and The New Mutants.
Taylor-Joy is also known for appearing in the BAFTA TV Awards-winning television series, Peaky Blinders; playing Gina Gray, the wife of Michael Gray who is played by Finn Cole.
She even had time to show up on Saturday Night Live and host an episode of the show, featuring Lil Nas X.
Taylor-Joy is also working on a historical film The Northman, by Robert Eggers, set in the 10th century of Iceland.
The movie will be about a Viking revenge saga and is scheduled for release on 8 April 2022.
Anya is also set to play Furiosa in the prequel of the Mad Max: Fury Road movie.
