Benedict Cumberbatch flees from security
Benedict Cumberbatch was attending the Spider-Man: No Way Home movie premiere and he was rather eager to leave the event following the festivities, and the actor then went viral on Twitter as videos emerged online showing the actor running away with his security personnel running after him.
The video was posted by a Twitter user named @strawberritom and Cumberbatch could be seen waving to the fans as he was running, much to the delights of the fans who erupted in raucous cheers. He then turned to look back at his security team that was chasing him before accelerating even faster to run away from them as they gave chase, driving the fans even crazier.
Cumberbatch is well known for his cheeky little antics and fun persona off the movie screens, and it is certainly unsurprising to see the actor entertain the masses with a funny stunt like this.
Spider-Man: No Way Home
Benedict Cumberbatch’s outing in Spider-Man: No Way Home is certainly not his last in the MCU, with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness due to be released in May next year, which will also see Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch featuring rather heavily in the movie.
Spider-Man: No Way Home picks off where Far From Home ended – Peter Parker’s secret identity as Spider-Man (portrayed by Tom Holland) is revealed to the world and he is being accused of murdering Quentin Beck aka Mysterio (portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal).
He goes to see Doctor Strange for help in casting a spell to make the world forget that he is Spider-Man but the spell then goes horribly wrong and a bunch of villains from across the multiverses comes through, presenting new challenges for Peter Parker and his friends.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in cinemas on December 17.
