Chucky season 2 is the question many have asked after season 1 ended on a cliffhanger. In Season 1 Chucky, Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) picked up a doll at a yard sale for $20 and brought it to school, and supernatural starting to happen.
He managed to destroy Chucky but that won’t be the last of us seeing Chucky. As Chucky is a supernatural doll, it will come back in another host.
After he brought it home, Lexy Cross (Alyvia Alyn Lind) said that the doll “creeps me the hell out“. Wheeler received an anonymous phone call and he was warned about the door and realized that there are no batteries in the Chucky Doll.
Strange things started happening around the house and Wheeler started to investigate the origins of the doll, where he discovered an urban legend about a serial killer who goes by the name of Charles Lee Ray.
In the last episode of Season 1, “An Affair to Dismember”, Wheeler was pushed to madness and Chucky was pulling the strings and slowly changing him into a serial killer, Wheeler was able to break free from the evil dolls manipulation and do good.
Chucky Season 2 release date
We predict season 2 will be similar to season 1 with only 8 episodes and according to the production information that is listed on Wikipedia, Chucky Season 1 was completed in less than 6 months.
It is possible that we will be seeing the evil doll Chucky back in action by end of the first quarter of 2022.
Before season 1 ended, the contract for season 2 has already been renewed by SYFY and USA Network, they previously announced this in a video saying
“We’re thrilled to start pulling the strings on a second season of puppet mayhem with ‘Chucky.' Many thanks to our partners at USA, SYFY and UCP for their incredible support and guidance bringing ‘Chucky’ to the small screen, bigger than ever. And to the fans, Chucky sends his still-undying thanks and a message: ‘This isn’t over, not by a long shot. You better watch your backs in 2022!’”
