Daniel Farke, the manager of Norwich, was unceremoniously sacked by the club just mere hours after picking up his first win of the Premier League campaign over Brentford.
His side went through a pitiful run of 10 games without a league win before their victory over Brentford on Saturday.
The newly-promoted Norwich sits uncomfortably at the bottom of the Premier League table, languishing in 20th place and 5 points away from safety.

The club’s sporting director Stuart Webber explained that the decision was “not an easy one” and that he knows how “determined” Daniel and his staff were to succeed in the top flight of English football.
Webber added that the club feels that now is the right time for a change to give themselves the best chance of preserving their status as a Premier League side.
He added that everyone at Norwich should be forever grateful for Daniel and his staff for the “significant role” that they have played in the club’s journey, delivering 2 Championship titles and many memorable moments.
Farke’s backroom staff members consisting of Eddie Riemer, Chris Domogalla, and Christopher John have also left the club as well.
Daniel Farke spent 4 years at the club, having been appointed as the head coach of Norwich in 2017, and helped deliver the team back to the Premier League twice.
But he has never been able to keep them from being relegated upon promotion.
Speaking to the media prior to his sacking and his first win of the season, Farke said that there’s no replacement for wins for the self-belief.
He said that they are there finally and that it’s been a long wait and after a tough start, it’s great to get the first win under their belts.
