Daniel Radcliffe made a fan faint after accidentally brushing the girl’s arm during a publicity event in Japan, as he fondly recalls the funny story during an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show.
Daniel Radcliffe made fan instantly faint by brushing her arm
Speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, Daniel Radcliffe recalled a very amusing incident that happened while he was still at the peak of his Harry Potter fame, which swept up the entire world. He was doing a publicity event in Japan when the actor accidentally brushed against a young female fan on the arm. Radcliffe apologized to the fan and the girl instantly fainted.
Perhaps the killer combination of The Boy Who Lived touching and talking to her was too much for the fan to handle, and she got so overwhelmed that she passed out. Daniel Radcliffe said:
Daniel Radcliffe first portrayed the boy wizard in the popular Harry Potter movies back in 2001’s Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and the movie became such a hit that it catapulted Radcliffe into international superstardom.
Not even bands like Backstreet Boys could’ve matched the international appeal of Harry Potter back in the early 2000s; with the young stars including Emma Watson who played Hermione Granger, and Rupert Grint who played Ronald Weasley, growing up alongside the fans.
Daniel Radcliffe hasn’t made quite the same splash on the movie scenes since the culmination of his Harry Potter career, with roles in movies like Swiss Army Man and Guns Akimbo to name a few.
