Speaking to People during an interview, Kirsten Dunst admitted that she hasn’t seen the movie yet but that she has to see it “eventually”, more so because “Tobey‘s in it” and “everyone’s freaking out”. She also added that her son is “starting to get into Spider-Man stuff” and she’ll probably watch it with him.

“I know I have to. I know Tobey’s in it and it’s such a huge surprise and everyone’s freaking out.

I will. I’ll eventually watch it. You know, I’ll watch it with my son, because he’s starting to get into Spider-Man stuff.

There’s, like, a little-kid version of Spider-Man that he watches, so maybe he’ll watch it with me.

Rumors were circulating during the making of Spider-Man: No Way Home that Kirsten Dunst would reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson in the latest MCU movie, although she was quick to deny her involvement and shut down the rumors. Dunst did however mention that she would be open to coming back, saying “I would do it, why not? That would be fun. I would never say no to something like that”.

Her co-star Tobey Maguire did, however, make a return as the web-slinger, reprising his role as Spider-Man in No Way Home as it went well beyond the brief cameo that most fans expected – he teamed up with Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men to fight off a slew of bad guys. Kirsten Dunst has also previously mentioned that being part of the Spider-Man franchise was a “cool legacy” to have.
