Kyle Rittenhouse claims he supports Black Lives Matter, according to an interview he did with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

The teenager was previously acquitted of all murder charges on 19 November after being found not guilty of murder in the shootings of Joseph Rosenbaum, 36-years-old; Anthony Huber, 26-years-old and Gaige Grosskreutz, 28-years-old.

Kyle Rittenhouse claims he supports Black Lives Matter

Speaking to Tucker Carlson, Kyle Rittenhouse claims that he is not racist because he supports the Black Lives Matter movement and peaceful demonstrations, adding that he believed there needs to be change.

Curiously, he added that he believes there’s a lot of prosecutorial misconduct, not just in his case but in other cases as well – he added that it’s “amazing” how much a prosecutor can “take advantage of somebody”.

Explains why he shot the victims

He explained to Carlson that he “had to do it” because he was “just attacked”, adding that he apparently tried to turn himself in to the police after the shooting but was pepper-sprayed after being told to leave.

He argued that his case had nothing to do with race, repeatedly highlighting that “it never had anything to do with race” – reiterating that all he did was an act of self-defense.

His acquittal has been met with protests around the country with the conservatives rejoicing over the news – they paid a majority of his $2 million bond through a fund for his legal defense.

While he was released on bond, he was spotted at a bar in Wisconsin flashing an “okay” sign, which is a sign that has long been adopted by white supremacist groups.

Kyle Rittenhouse claims he isn’t a white supremacist

Kyle Rittenhouse claims he isn’t a white supremacist and that he had never been a member of the group – he has been adamant about lies being spread about him in an alleged attempt to politicize his case.

He also criticized US President Joe Biden on Twitter for speaking against Donald Trump during his 2020 presidential campaign.

Kenosha unrest

Kyle Rittenhouse was initially charged with two counts of homicide, one count of homicide, two counts of reckless endangerment, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, and one count of curfew violation.

The incident in question took place during a protest in Kenosha Wisconsin following the police shooting of Jacob Blake, where Rittenhouse had fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum, 36-years-old and Anthony Huber, 26-years-old – Gaige Grosskreutz, 28-years-old, was severely wounded in the shooting.

Rittenhouse was reportedly being followed by Rosenbaum who was unarmed at the time, with the former turning around to face the latter after a shot was fired into the air by a resident Joshua Ziminski.

Rosenbaum then lunged towards Rittenhouse and tried to disarm him, resulting in the latter shooting him 4 times and eventually killing him.

The teenager was then chased down the street by about a dozen people when he tripped and fell after receiving a blow to the head, and he fired two shots at a man who kicked him, missing both shots.

Anthony Huber then tried to take his rifle after hitting him in the shoulder with a skateboard before Rittenhouse shot him in the chest and killed him.

Gaige Grosskreutz then pointed a handgun at the teenager while approaching him, to which Rittenhouse then fired at the West Allis resident and hitting him in the right arm.
