New Batman trailer by Warner Bros. Japan
A new trailer for The Batman was released by Warner Bros. Japan and posted by @culturecrave onto their Twitter page, with the new movie trailer featuring a few not snippets from the movie that were not released or seen previously, with one of the snippets showing The Riddler’s wall being covered in newspaper clippings, cutouts, and photographs of a few people, presumably his would-be victims.
Bruce Wayne (portrayed by Robert Pattinson) was also seen in one of the newspaper clippings, with the headline “WAYNE SPOTTED”, as a narration of The Riddler played over the movie trailer, asking a riddle, what’s black and blue and dead? All of them.”
What is The Riddler’s motivation?
The first trailer for The Batman was unveiled at DC Fandome using only a few weeks’ worth of footage and at the moment, the movie is now in post-production and wrapping up on filming. It was previously reported that Warner Bros. is deliberating over two cuts of the movie’s final product.
Paul Dano’s Riddler‘s motivation appears to be connected to Bruce Wayne and his family, although his motives continue to be unknown. And although the character has been shown in the movie’s marketing campaign numerous times, fans are still scratching their heads over his true intentions – I guess we can only find out once the movie is released.
The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves, who is focusing on telling the story of Batman as a more grounded and gritty comic book movie, emphasizing on the caped crusader’s detective skills during his second year of crime-fighting as The Batman.
The Batman will be out in cinemas on March 4, 2022.
