Alec Baldwin is the oldest and most well-known of the four Baldwin brothers that work in the entertainment industry (the others being Stephen Baldwin, William Baldwin, and Daniel Baldwin). Alexander Rae Baldwin III was born in Massapequa, New York on April 3, 1958, the son of Carol Newcomb (Martineau) and Alexander Rae Baldwin Jr., a high school teacher and football coach at Massapequa High School. He is descended from Irish, English, French, Scottish, and German ancestors.
