Scarlett Johansson was in the limelight after a lawsuit with Disney regarding her earnings from the Marvel movie Black Widow. Black Widow was aired on Disney Plus the same day it was available in the theatres.
But more recently it seems that the case has been settled.
Not only will Johansson be continuing her role in the Disney movie Tower of Terror which was announced in June 2021, but she will also be in Marvel Studio projects as well.
Kevin Feige (CEO of Marvel) said “We already are working with Scarlett on another not Black Widow-related top-secret Marvel Studios project.”
Not only did Feige say that Marvel is working with her but she also praised Johansson for her talent.
Feige did not divulge what Marvel Studio “Top-Secret Projects” she will be in, but it is almost guaranteed that she will be appearing as Agent Romanoff aka Black Widow.
Here is what we are expecting
With movies like Eternals and Shang-Chi continuing the stories of Marvel’s Universe, we are expecting that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will further expand its realm and many more characters will be brought in.
At the end of the movie, Shang-Chi was brought to Kamar-Taj in Nepal by Wong and he had a meeting with Captain Marvel and Bruce Banner (Hulk).
Banner warned Shang-Chi that his life will be turned upside down after becoming a hero. It did not end with Shang-Chi becoming an Avenger. But…
In the comic books, Shang-Chi is part of the Avengers, and this meeting between the Avengers members could be revealing Scarlett Johansson’s role in the next movie.
In another word, there will be a Marvel movie with Black Widow in it since she is a member of the Avengers.
We believed more clues can be found in the next two upcoming movies. Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Here is another clue, since the next two Marvel movies are about Multiverse:
Spider-Man: No Way Home would be the movie to introduce threats from the Multiverse and the next Doctor Strange movie is about releasing an evil from the Multiverse.
Therefore we predict Scarlett Johansson (probably Black Widow from another universe) would be in the next generation of Avengers battling this evil that is spoken by Dr. Strange.
