Marvel Studios’ Eternals will hit the Disney+ streaming service as early as January next year. Its synopsis describes it as follows: The story is about an immortal race who lived among humans for over 7,000 years, the group of 10 Eternals unites to stop an evil force from destroying planet earth.

Most members of the Eternals had unique powers mostly from cosmic energy for each of the team. With all of their powers, The Eternals set out to Earth and protect humans all around the world from evil forces who do harm. They are one of Marvel’s most immortal superheroes.

Chloé Zhao‘s Eternals reportedly has hit a box office of $337.8 million and it’s expected to exceed Black Widow soon. The movie is a really good first movie for Eternals. However, the release had mixed reactions from around the globe. Some countries even banned the movie due to certain content in the film.

Although the movie was well received in most countries, many are waiting for the release on Disney Plus. Although screening new movies within months of their release will affect the box office but Disney Plus cuts out the middle man and should be getting more subscribers as fans will expect future Marvel movies to be on the platform.

The Eternals is not that bad as the critics suggest. It’s a pretty good depiction of Marvel’s cosmic universe. It’s like an origin story of the MCU itself. Liked the way they Integrated the story into human civilizations.

Trust the audience reviews don’t trust movie critics.
