Infamous YouTuber and self-proclaimed “new face of boxing” Jake Paul will take on Tommy Fury, the half-brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury in a boxing match on 18 December at the Amalie Arena.

Ahead of the much-publicized boxing fight between the two, the trash-talking has already begun, with Jake Paul calling 22-year-old Fury a “green guy who hasn’t sparred enough times”.

Paul said that this fight will be Fury’s first real test where his opponent “just doesn’t flop over”, saying that there was no chance he was going to lose the fight.

Fury retorted that he feels like he’s won the lottery, saying that he is being asked to fight on a massive stage against a YouTuber and is being paid nicely to do so.

He added that he is begging Jake Paul not to pull out of the fight, saying that he is going to splatter the self-named “problem child” when the two face off in the ring.

24-year-old Paul is undefeated at the moment, beating a myriad of non-boxers along the way to score a 4-0 fighting record: his other opponents have been fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, basketballer Nate Robinson, retired MMA fighter Ben Askren and veteran UFC fighter Tyron Woodley.

Jake Paul has never fought a proper boxer throughout his “professional” boxing career.

This fight will be Jake Paul’s first bout with a proper boxer, with Tommy Fury also being undefeated in his career, scoring 7-0 with 4 knockouts; the two will be fighting at a ‘catchweight” of 192 pounds, with the bout lasting 8-rounds

Intensive training with Tyson Fury

Tommy Fury has been put through the paces and undergoing intensive training with his heavyweight champion half-brother Tyson Fury, as well as the latter’s coach SugarHill Steward.

Tyson has been exchanging voice messages with Tommy’s opponent Jake as well: With Paul calling Tommy a “squid” and Tyson replying that Tommy is going to “annihilate you Jakey boy”.

Tyson was seen in a Twitter video training his half-brother’s core muscles by hitting him with a medicine ball, captioning the Tweet: “There’s no easy way out, there’s no short cut road”.

The older fury also said that the stakes are high for his brother, adding that he will “retire him (Tommy) from boxing myself (SIC)” if Paul beats him.

Tyson Fury vs Logan Paul

Meanwhile, Jake Paul’s older brother Logan Paul has challenged Tyson Fury to a fight after their brothers’ bout in December, with the older Paul saying that he will “take Tyson Fury down”.

Paul posted on his Instagram story saying: “Tyson, after my brother knocks your brother out, I’m coming for you, I swear to god I am going to take you down. The Gypsy King will fall”.

Meanwhile, the “Gypsy King” has other problems on his mind, such as his favorite team Man United cultivating a losing streak that doesn’t seem to be subsiding anytime soon.

He recently took to his Instagram and Twitter accounts to issue a warning to the Man United players to pull up their socks and improve their performances.
