Following the tragedy that took place at Travis Scott Astroworld Music Festival that saw 8 people killed in a crush because of a crowd surge, a lawsuit has been filed against Scott as well as several other organizers.

However due to them allegedly being motivated by profit, they neglected safety at the expense of the health of the concertgoers and as a result, 8 people lost their lives during a night that was supposed to be a night of fun.

The documents alleged that Manuel suffered serious injuries when he was knocked down by the crowd onto the ground and trampled.

Manuel’s injuries were described as being the “inevitable and predictable result of the defendants’ conscious disregard of the extreme risks of harm to concertgoers that had been escalating since hours earlier”.

His lawyer, Steve Kherkher from the law firm Kherkher Garcia, said that as residents of Houston, they are sickened by the devastating tragedy that took place and that Travis Scott and those who promoted the even have to take responsibility.
