The incredibly long-awaited new Batman movie, titled ‘The Batman’, has suffered repeated pandemic-associated delays but now has a launch date set for spring of 2022. It may be the first standalone Batman movie considering the fact that 2012.

The movie will be skipping over the original origin tale and the main topic will be about Batman in the process of becoming a well-trained crimefighter. Directed by means of Matt Reeves, the new film is said to be extra of a detective-style take on Batman than we have seen earlier.

Here is what we know about the Batman Movie

The film is directed by Matt Reeves who is known for the movies “Down of the Planet of the Apes” and “War for the Planet of the Apes”.

Star of the show

The movie starred Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, Pattinson is most famous for his role as the lead actor in “Twilight”. Previously, many DC comic fans were unhappy after finding out that Pattinson role in the movie.

Some of them said: “Because he honestly seems like a miscast, he’s too small to be Batman – I know people will turn to Michael Keaton, who wasn’t a big guy and played Batman well, but those were different times. Actors playing superheroes nowadays are expected to look like the character. Think about Chris Hemsworth as Thor, do you think he would have gotten that part if he was Robert Pattinson’s size? He seems like a suave guy but he just doesn’t have the physicality to play the role convincingly.”

Zoë Kravitz will be starred as Catwoman. There will be no Robin in this movie.

Batman Timeline:

There are many stories of Batman and this movie is centered around the superhero’s second year of fighting crime, the hero uncovers corruption in Gotham City that connects to his own family while facing a serial killer known as The Riddler.

The movie was scheduled for release in June 2021, but production was delayed between March and September 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is scheduled for release in the United States on March 4, 2022. Two sequels are planned and two spin-off television series are in development for HBO Max.
